Thanks Louis. I ran Manf. utilities and the test failed on some segement.

So, what now while my C drive is still working fine other than slow boot up.

Can I buy a new external hard drive, use driveimage software or something else, make a image of my drive. When it fails, buy a new one put the image back, I'm in business? Is that easy? Can I avoid, reinstalling all programs like xp or, office, IE, etc. with driveimage?

Also, for 120G HD, what back up HD one needs to buy? Driveimage website says, it needs 40MB for itself? I'm using only 11 to 14 G on my C now.

Please help.
