Well, it looks like someone is saving the dollar, and now that
someone is definitely not the Japanese CB. I can't tell when
this stops, but Mr. Market will. I think, Mr. Bond Market will
will be the first to tell. Right now, it's just soaking up
the Fed liquidity, then this liquidity goes directly to other
markets. When Mr. Bond market starts to get pissed, liquidity
will evaporate. Of course, the Fed will do anything in its
power to keep it flowing, so I'm not sure how it all will end.
It could end with the derivatives meltdown, or it could end
with hyperinflation. One or the other, or both, it seems,
could be the result of this mess.
