The strategic investment consisted of a private placement of one million common shares of Geoinformatics at a price of $1 per share for a total amount of $1-million. On the basis of this investment, Goldcorp holds 8.3 per cent of the issued shares of Geoinformatics. After the Goldcorp investment, Geoinformatics has a total of 12 million common shares and one million stock options outstanding. The shareholders of Geoinformatics are St. Andrew (41.7 per cent), Fractal Holdings Pty. (41.7 per cent), St. George Minerals (8.3 per cent) and Goldcorp (8.3 per cent). Geoinformatics Explorationis a technology-and-science-based exploration company which uses the leading-edge "Geoinformatics technology platform" and "Geoinformatics process" to provide innovative solutions for the definition of exploration targets and the implementation of exploration strategies.
