I just watched Kudlow and Cramer and they were discussing the time magazine cover (the love him, hate him president) time.com and the republican ad. The Time editor said that Bush's negative ratings are up to 40%!!! The last poll I read had Bush's negative at 33% and imho that is the stamp of a loser, since strong negatives really motivate votes. 40% is terrible, unless something really changes I can't see how he can win. I think the republicans should nominate a centrist candidate like Colin Powell and salvage what they can in 04.
