If "Crime is deliberately inflicting harm on another", and from fertilization on you believe that we are dealing with a 'child'... then how could you possibly believe that a mother smoking or drinking (or dieting to excess, or marathon running, or weighing in a 300 pounds, or working in any workplace where mutagenic chemicals such as benzene are in use --- or maybe even just filling up the family SUV, etc., etc.) isn't engaging in a 'crime'? How would you prevent this?
