Only problem with that is there are only two types of people that read that magazine. Those that are Republican and those that would support someone like Dean. Is this a joke or what? jdn

The debate is on now. And the HMO-Pharma windfall bill just passed the Senate by one vote. 12 billion in cash to the HMO's so they can "compete" (outrageous) and no discipline on drug prices allowed. The Pharmas can charge the government whatever they like and will overtime bankrupt the system. More and more money being sucked out of Medicare into the private sector's profit columns and Bushies get the fat campaign contributions in return.

The corporations have taken over thanks to their lobbyists and the Bushies. The energy bill is almost as bad with its 16 billion in corporate welfare to Cheney's cronies in the energy field. But no efficiency standards, almost nothing for clean fuels and environmental protection.
