Ryan was an amazing man on the defensive side. He was creative and more talented then anyone and spoke their language. I think his defenses would have run through the depths of hell to make him proud and it showed.

He couldn't connect in the least with the offense which sunk his head coaching aspirations IMO. His idea of offense was go 3 and out but don't turn the ball over and my defense will make a safety or something along the way to win a game.

His years in Chicago which of course piss me off to no end being a Packer fan were something else. Offense was OK and would put some points on the board. Defense was f-ing incredible. Monsters of the Midway indeed. Something else.
