Dean is running on an anti-war platform. That's where most of his support comes from. The anti-war left. For him to try and run away from that is absurd. He was also governor of the most liberal state in the union. Worst of all, he has no authority to take on Bush on military and foreign affairs. All he can do is Monday Morning quarterback.
