More in keeping with our policy of longer term holds, an update on FORG:

stockcharts.com[m,a]waolyyay[pb50!c13][vc60][iUb14!Lp14,3,3]&pref=G

Changing this weekly chart to a daily there is a strong possiblity that the 13dEMA is about to cross over the 50dMA..If that happens then the above chart is on track to improve the 50 period MA as well as the 13 week EMA making the target of 4.00 doable. Earnings are due out the 3rd of Dec. with (I'm expecting) some blurb on a new licensing settlement on the JPEG patent.

Today's news simply makes the case for the recent purchase of Simplicty Software Co. Simplicty is going to be FORG's software deveolper for the future. Now, if they can just sell the dang stuff to existing customers! LOL

ALRG sold @ .82

One new rule for our portfolio to prevent the turnover problem. All additions will be retained in the portfolio for a minimum of 90 days. This new rule is effective today for new stocks added beginning today. Prior additions may be deleted at any time.

For short term plays, Lost Mike has agreed to maintain a portfolio of these stocks on a separate thread. The purpose of that thread will be only to maintain the short term folio. I do not know if Mike will keep our short term stats updated. Thanks Mike. Please post a link when you have set up the new thread.
