howdee Rob.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the Mrs as well.

about the USPS
I just guessing here
But I'm thinking that they haven't contributed all that much to the bottom line so perhaps that was already priced into the stock a while ago.
Just a hunch.

So you're gonna be a daddy, eh?
Well, that's great news.
Hope all goes well
And may your first child be a masculine child<GGG>

Rob,

Congratulations on being an expectant father.

I'm still lurking, but I sold out on the USPS news. I too am surprised that it seems to have had no effect on the price of the stock.

I plan to reload on a pull back after the new year.

Hi Rob,
Great news, congrats to you and your wife. I hope you both had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I've been out of the stock for a while but continue to watch and wait. If it dips below 20 again I'll be back in for 1,000 shares. I like the strong cash flow and the fact that they are paying off the debt. I still think the company has a strong business but I don't think the market for their service is as big as I once thought it was. I've been playing more in the medical stocks these days, my favs are CYBX, BSX and GNSC.

Best Wishes,

Ed

I'm still here and check this board a few times a week.

I've been buying and selling CKFR using a mechanical method for the last few years (AIM). It was working as planned and was gradually lowering my average cost. But during the summer run-up to ~29 I got nervous and sold 3/4 of my position at ~27. I was lucky and surprised when it subsequently swooned to the low 20's and I bought back half of what I sold at 21. That single 'hunch' move helped more than 10 or 15 incremental AIM trades! Go figure.

I like this stock for it's volatility and relatively stable long-term outlook. I see only healthy competition that keeps them on their toes but isn't strong enough to steal a significant share of a fast-growing market.

I'm in for about 4,000 shares now at an average cost of ~10. I'll keep my investment around this dollar amount by selling when it goes up and buying when it dips.
