his mechanic told him the 304 engine in the ford is a good motor...i think he's going to go look at a sport trac today (just can't give up that pick up bed<g>) i have been expecting a much sharper sell off (for what seems like months now) than what we've seen thus far, yet as you say, consolidation rules. the scary thing is (if you're short, heh) is i heard a report several days ago on retail investor sentiment, and big majority (i think the number was over 70%) said they were not putting money into equities.... très bullish.
