Why not? Gore is tanned, rested, a good sport and if you think he no longer wants to be president you are nuts. The Dem leadership is praying Kerry can take out Dean, but if he can't and Clark can't either, then Al is the natural man to come in. Gore can beat Bush too. Like RFJ in 1972, you don't have to enter the race until March if you're the most famous one. And it's sure not going to be Hillary to the rescue. She'd lose to Dean and/or Bush. Gore would beat Dean 70-30% if it came down to the two of them. And can you imagine Gore-Clark riding back to Florida to claim what was stolen from dems in 2000? Woo-eee. Fair is fair.
