I never said that Saddam would be easy to take out militarily. LOL. In fact I said that we should have tried to oust him by diplomatic pressure first. By letting the inspectors do their job. The military option was taken because it was deemed to be the most expedient. BTW,, you are cutting our troops down with your remarks. LOL. If my advice would have been followed there would have been far less casualties on both sides, maybe none. Bush is the one that is cutting them down by entering into a war which has now degraded into a guerilla war. He has no clue about how to operate in Iraq, and this is getting our soldiers killed. In fact our troops are overwhelmed, under equipped and over worked. All this while The Bush administration cuts benefits to soldiers. I fully support the troops.
