I am about 95% in individual equities, primarily high tech electronics and the equipment for making it. The other 5% is for buying the same on dips and is kept fairly constant.

I am a Republican and I have 50% in real estate, 25% in equities and 25% in fixed income investments. However my allocation to fixed income relates to my being retired not my political views. Gotta have some cash flow you know. jdn

That might be right, maybe because they tend to be more optimistic and believe in a rosy future for this country. BTW, I'm Independent though I do mainly vote Republican despite being slightly left of center according to a survey I did online. I'm more of a gambler than a Republican :-)
