Perhaps you should write a modern day 1984, seriously.

I don't have to. It is being written by the media every day. Tory Clark was back for an encore performance today. Suggesting why it is that the President can't possibly express "mourning" about the loss of American lives in Iraq.
An Undersecretary of Economics breathlessly declared on C-SPAN that the newly revised GNP figures for the third quarter were actually 8.2% growth rather than 7.2%. She utterly fails to mention that military spending, higher cost of crude oil and ominously increasing consumer debt are the key elements of this purported economic gain.
The Secretary of Defense and the head of the Joint Chiefs assure us we've turned the corner in Iraq because the enemy is now concentrating of murdering our allies and Iraqi collaborators instead of the U.S. military personnel.

How can I possibly top the fiction coming out of the White House?
