SDI is a boondoggle of enormous proportions. It has never worked and may never work. It also has a very dubious purpose. What is it's real purpose? It is supposed to shield us from China? Do neocons dream of a thermal nuclear war with China? Or could it actually be an ofensive weapon system? In any case, it doesn't work, isn't even close. Tens of billions might be down the drain.
Hey, I hope it works someday. It's my money too.
