when do they take our gold -- is it time to get it out of the safety deposit box and bury in the woods yet??

we laugh and we joke, but there are some places which are really in serious upheaval as we speak. Don't say it can't happen here.

Been listening to the series on BBC concerning HIV/aids in Africa and in India -- amazing. In Africa a whole generation is growing up without parents -- talk about seeds of destruction.

I don't know how likely an oil interruption is, but can you imagine the turmoil would cause? the potential for it has to be the only reason we went into Iraq, IMO. Sadam didn't pose any threat to us -- there aren't any WMDs -- and there isn't going to be any democracy over there.

If some of these folks are even half right about nat gas -- the coming decade won't be about whether you can afford the niceties you want or can make big bucks off a trade -- going to be a different kinda show altogether ...

that global trade backlash stuff Roach talks about is nothing ... yet. If the credit spigot ever gets turned down a little and folks have to pay more for the stuff they need to live, there's gonna be a major commotion here.
