I think it's extremely telling that 95% of the plan won't even kick in until AFTER the next Presidential election cycle. This allows Bush to claim credit for the plan before the seniors are living under it, before the millions who have private insurance now are dropped into the "safety net" of this giveaway to the pharmaceutical companies. As a non-senior, I'm not looking forward to losing my access to Canadian drugs, another "feature" of the plan that affects everyone that takes prescriptions, not just seniors.
