Ted, What do you think of this dispute over what should be troop strength on the ground? Sounds like management trying to solve the problem the old-fashioned way: Throw more heads at it. It is my opinion that more troops will only present the bad guys with more targets. What we need is better intelligence. Also, is it possible for us to play their games a little, such as dressing up some of our troops as civilians or even potential "martyrs"? Maybe even lure them out somehow? I agree.......we don't do clever well! All of this would be a lot smarter than just marching around like the British redcoats of American colonial times. (And I use that analogy very hesitantly, for I don't ever want to imply that the terrorists are freedom fighters in any sense.) Nor were the colonists terrorists inspite of the tactics they used. I understand. Its hard to take how these guys are getting picked off so easily. I agree some underground action is in order. BTW hope you didn't sell IVAN. It will recover. ted
