I am sorry but I STRONGLY disagree,
please stop using the white house as your point of reference.
It is the Bush and his gang that are abusing their executive powers.
The political atmosphere is so cloudy that even republicans like democrats have
forgoten which end is up!
We have two confused parties in the office and the Bush gang is capitalizing on it!

I am sure many like yourself never thought this could be possible but my friend it is happening as I am writing this!

white house will always will be the White House and don't you ever forget it, regardless of your party affiliation!

When the media does everything for people, feeds them in so many ways, all the people have to do is simply that which the media tells or suggests. And when this kind of parameter becomes established fewer become the thinkers and fewer become the options.

Unfortunately, Bush doesn't have to appeal to everybody. He only has to appeal to the necessary few who'll get him reelected.

With about 50 percent of all potential voters voting (this is common in national elections) only 26 percent is needed to win the presidency.

With millions of dollars available to influence opinion, together with an all too complacent media, it becomes easy to buy the votes from the tiny sliced fence-sitting vote. Winning these votes is the Bush-Cheney Administration's sole objective. If done, all who feed from the Administration will prosper; this while so many will suffer.

But who cares ... the media is still there to make us feel good. It even made us feel good as we marched off into an unnecessary war!

How'd that happen?

Sheepish, you say? I dare say it's more than that. People have become numbed!
