"When America and Europe are divided, when Japan is hesitant, the extremists are emboldened and think they can win against a divided group. The terrorists' tactics for the time being are to hit only Americans, Jews and America's strong supporters, the British, the Italians, the Turks, warning the Japanese but leaving others alone. They intend to divide and conquer." LB, The strategy would appear to be working. Not only are we divided outside (Germany, France, Russia)...but we are also divided within (Kerry, Dean, et al). I do not expect this division to last forever. Eventually, continued terrorist attacks will force seemingly unlikely unions and international cooperation. We can only hope that America is not mortally wounded before the demo leadership and the rest of the world decides to fight back. uw
