Say what? Where do you get the notion that Jewish state = segregation? Israel has never tried to ethnically cleanse the population. If they had wanted to ethnically cleanse the state of Israel, they could have. It is true that religious Jews want to live apart, there are several instructions in the Bible to do just that, e.g., "be a nation of priests and holy people". However, for most, the issue is not segregation but control. Jews have had a bunch of very unhappy experiences at being minority populations at the mercy of the majority's "protection"; they want someplace where Jews act to control the fate of Jews, on the grounds that only Jews care about the fate of Jews.
