If you lived in England and watched the bbc every night i expect we might believe the stuff they spill out on the airways.

A friend of mine lives in Newcastle, England. Her views on recent events are a confirmation of your post. To be fair, she also watches CNN, and is unable to understand how the same news can be shaped differently.
