STAR 023 YIELDS ESTIMATED 64.1 CARATS PER 100 TONNES OVER 118.1 METRES Jonathan Challis, President, is very pleased to report that diamond analyses for the five NQ sized diamond drill holes (Star 017, 018, 019, 020 and 023) from the 2000 Phase II drill program on the Star Kimberlite property have now been received. The results for Star 020 only include the NQ section of hole, and not the deeper BQ core. A total sample of 626 kilograms (kgs) of split kimberlite core were processed, taken over a continuous interval of 311.6 metres from a depth of 87.6 metres below surface to a depth of 399.2 metres. This sample resulted in an estimated diamond grade of 61.0 carats per 100 tonnes (cts/100t). The remaining 235 metres of core (representing the intersection from 399.2 metres to 634.2 metres) from this hole were drilled using a BQ sized drill (36.5mm diameter). Within the sampled interval, higher-grade sections were found including an intersection of 25.6 metres with a grade of 435 cts/100t and 133 metres with a grade of 116 cts/100t." This one is headquartered in my home town and I would be remiss if I did not mention that people are getting very excited about this project.
