Professional stuff. Right out of Industrial Light & Magic. The intonation, timbre and actual tone changed to make it a cross between Walt Cronkite and Darth Vader, instead of his usual Barney Fife imitation. They're trying to get away from the "Mayberry Machiavelli" charge from last year. I wouldn't doubt if there weren't an overdub by professional announcer as well, underneath the omninous swelling music. We're getting 21st Century "Triumph of the Will" piecemeal. We'll get the whole thing in cinemascope and 6.1 stereo by next year, just in time for the October terrorist sweeps.
