About $1.50/Palestinian/day. Keeps them at the poverty level If you assume that they have no economy of their own, and are incapable of ever developing one. Is that your assumption? The Palestinians are the most capable businessmen of the Arab world, it's just that conditions on the West Bank haven't been good for business. And don't give me that sad song about how the Israelis destroyed everthing just because they have this funny objection to having their civilians blown up on buses and in restaurants.
