Prof. Abu Al-Fadl: "I have the authority and promises from the American administration that what I say is taken into account, and that it is of interest. I do not waste my time. I told them this and I added: 'Either the promises you are giving me will be realistic, or everything is a lie, and I'll quit and go back to my academic post.'" Lorne, I have my own reasons to not like Bush's policies. But one thing that I like very much about him is that he is very open to criticism, as it should be for any American President. whether it is the Dixie Chicks, or you, or me or that professor. That is one of his redeeming qualities. It is the people around him that I have problem with. The Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz. Not Condy Rice/Powell though.
