< What's a good, liquid way to play the CAD/USD other than to hold the currency? >

It seems to me the easiest way is hold the currency, ie. short term debt denominated in $CD. I think most major houses allow that. My first purchase a couple years ago was 4 year Canadian governments purchased in my Merrill Lynch account.

I also own a lot of Canadian stocks... energy and Gold.
