New Hampshire is practically Vermont. Don't be fooled by that. If there weren't a stateline those two might as well be the same state. Kerry needs to do a lot better there, but the importance of New Hampshire may be minimal this year, except for Kerry of course. He needs to come back and at least run very close to Dean there. He has a good chance of doing that too.

I have already posted all polls I refer to. SI does not allow you to go back weeks and grab an old post. Sometimes it's even hard to grab one a few days old. They're deleting quickly these days. Pay attention. I don't lie. The Dean losing to Bush by 20% was well documented about a week ago.

The polls you just posted show a mixed bag and everything very close and fluid. Dean cannot be sure of anything yet, not even winning New Hampshire. But to me the close Dem race doesn't even matter so much, it's beating Bush that matters. Kerry, Clark or Gore.
