LOL, yeah, according to Baghdad, maybe. You need to stick to one side. Were they a threat to our entire country or were they not? The Potted-Plant-In-Chief says Iraq was an imminent threat. He said WMDs. That's the entire reason we're in this huge mess. Are you saying that he lied? There are lots of rumors but, with our huge resources, why can't anything be confirmed at this late date? Are you saying that our intelligence services, military and admin are grossly incompetent? Who's talking about assassination? The PPIC certainly wasn't talking about Saddam sponsored assassination of a single individual. If Saddam was in cohoots with OBL and they had Saddam's nuclear weapons at their disposal for over 10 years...WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THEM? Who cares about taking out any one individual when you can take out all of Washington or NYC? Why in the world didn't they do so instead of the low-tech, high-risk commercial airline tactic? Why bother with office buildings when you supposedly have the capability to destroy entire cities and bring down the 'infidel' completely? The original A-bomb killed approx 100,000 people in an instant. That's a true WMD and our GOVERNMENT is the only one who has ever deployed it. Utter nonsense. If OBL had access to nuclear weapons in Saddam's arsenal, he would have used them.
