Have you not seen their NR - they're not hedging for the next decade. Yes their current hedges will wind down but they are a small percentage of production. See Russett's recent post on the Barrick thread - or was it here? Anyway it would be interesting to see an analysis of the size of NEM's hedges viz a viz Barrick. So much of market action is about perception and that is why I think Barrick will now outperform
