Your view is fairly extreme and is probably just as wrong as those who claim that we have totally eliminated terror. IMO Al Queda as the organized force it was before 9/11 is on the ropes.

That doesn't mean that the threat of terror by offshoots and deranged individual fanatics is not there. Again, I use the roach analogy as this is what these "people" are.

I do agree that the administration has had problems in planning post invasion and PR and communication has been horrid.

Nevertheless, the scope of what the US has accomplished is incredible no matter how you measure it. Casualties although regrettable are miniscule compared to similar "wars" throughout history. Even losses on the Iraqi side are minimal as a result of the hundreds of millions invested in "smart" weaponry.

Mistakes yes - can we do better - yes.

Will we be deterred in routing out the bastards? Never.
