Surely members of the Administration mentioned oil as a means of offsetting the costs of the war. But they certainly DID NOT 'start out,' as you so leftist-like have claimed, selling the war because of oil. 9-11 had quite a lot to do with why we are in Iraq. But such terribly small details are lost on leftists.
