Merely because a claim is untrue does not make the claim a lie. That is just a fact of logic that is lost on leftists. A lot of information was being thrown around in those days, and it was up to the President to efficiently make decision based upon it. He did, and now leftist couchpotaters are secondguessing him, as if they could do better under the circumstances. Had there been WMDs and Bush followed the leftists, and had those WMDs been used against America, leftists would have come from under the cabbage patch to whine against the President. It was impossible for Bush to win in this situation. So, he verified the lack of WMDs himself - a prudent thing for him to do.
