Iowa will be a tight race. I am not familiar with the state's politics so thanks for the article,
Please note there are many blue collar workers in the" two big service and
public employee unions, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and the American Federation
of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)."

Balz article fails to note the blue collars in these unions.

Balz also notes" the ideological shift in the party during Bush's presidency, one that could leave the center open to Bush in the general election."

Bush is on the far right. Based on his past actions, I cannot imagine how anyone would ever think he is in the center. Although Balz works for the Washington Post, he isn't a very good journalist in my opinion.

P.S. Thanksgiving was great. Thanks!
