Coulter's is just trashy slander. Ivins actually compliments Bush a lot amidst her well-researched criticism. Franken writes a very literate book complete with tons of research to back up his arguments. Coulter is a lame-brain compared to those two. She's also the ugliest pundit in America now, even she's superficially pretty. GFrankly, I don't know how you can defend her with a straight face. I've never found him particularly literate in his oral presentations. 10 bucks says that you've probably read as much of Franken as you have of Ivins (which was exactly one article, as I recall) and, btw, I wasn't "defending" Coulter, I was, and am, saying she's no different from the left wing pundits whom you evidently adore.
