Regarding the Dan Balz article on Iowa, I think he's a liar and a con man working for the Bushies. Quote: Dan Balz: Neither Gephardt nor Dean pretends he is a New Democrat. Aside from Dean's wise anti-war position, Dean is a "centrist" of the old school. A sensible politician who irritated the "Left" in Vermont as much as he irritated the GOP. Balz is a horrible man. Lying for a living, and attempting to further his pointed-headed, pencil-necked reactionary agenda. He conflates his punditry and opinions with a slight smattering of reporting in his journalism. The mix is a very sour mash.
