I thought opec is talking about cutting supply this month. This was a news release out of Vz.

Just how low is the price of oil in local currency for many nations after the dollars drop?

OPEC nations ability to act to maximize revenues together maybe challenged in Q2 2004 from some reports I am seeing.

Robry's data is indicating another bullish data point for the ration HDD to draw. The HDD is indicating another week with lower than normal HDD though.

My local forecast looks normal over 15 days contrary to what the GFS says.

Oil and oil service stocks almost always do well the first few months of the year even when the overall stock market does not (as I think will be the case during the first half of 2004)

The real questions are:

Will there be a final shakeout in the energy stocks before the rally?

Will we see a typical early year bounce (20% or so) in 2004 or something considerably more impressive?
