I go through periods of severe itching everywhere. Been tested for testosterone, kidneys, etc. I have some minimal kidney disfunction but it ought not to account for the level of itching from time to time. I personally think it is generalized nerve damage which can arise from myriad causes...

In your case, where it is so localized...one suspects some particular nerve damage. Operations or cuts near the area?
