Oh yeah
we're doing a great job in Afghanistan (or should I use the preposition "on"?):

Poppy cultivation in Afghanistan doubled between 2002 and 2003 to a level 36 times higher than in the last year of rule by the Taliban, according to White House figures released Friday.

One has to wonder why the people involved aren't concerned. The fact is that Neil Bush's experience in failed S&L's should disqualify him for dog catcher. Even the dog catcher knows to get competitive bids for dog catching services and has some responsibility to keep the dogs in his charge somewhere in the kennel. I guess money in an S/L is harder to keep control of ... all those dollars had a strong desire to be adopted into new homes (maybe even swimming pools, guest houses, cars, boats and negotiable securities). Get along little doggies...

Was NB the best the U.S. could find to broker deals in Iraq?
