I suspect a decade of sanctions has had a lot to do with the deterioration of Iraq's oil fields.

A huge move up in oil service equities looks to be just a a matter of time IMHO. 2005 if not 2004.

Looks like the Bushies are trying to soften up the public for the notion that we'll soon be taking over the management of Iraq's underground oil reserves "on humanitarian grounds". <gg>
