Cheney works for the nuclear industry. Remember during the phony energy crisis he told us we needed 1300 new power plants, many of them nuclear. He wanted tax-payers to pay Duke, Bectel and Halliburton to build a new generation of huge polluting and nuclear plants. Said we needed them ASAP or else.

His problem is where to dispose of the waste. They're screwing over Nevada already. Some of those right-wing pirates from the Rockies and Utah actually think uranium is harmless. Maybe Cheney does too, or he just doesn't care.
Gordon Gecko said "greed is good". Cheney types say "pollution is good". Never met a toxic he couldn't make money off. Cheney aquired the asbestos company for Halliburton, remember? Dresser Industries.

Radioactive waste in regular landfills?

You've heard that the Bushies are negotiating to ship radioactive waste to Russia for landfilling there? How's that for a non-proliferation policy. No terrorist threat there, now! <g>

But not to worry. Just because the fish that Inuits are catching in the Arctic Ocean have started to show a vast increase in tumors due to industrial pollution should not be a cause of concern for the Republicans in Texas.
