Great post. I always figured that, at some point, the Bush junta would get off the "we're bringing freedom to the Iraqis" line of crapola just as they eventually dropped the "Saddam is a threat to the world" shite. I can't wait to see what their justification will be for remaining in Iraq for the next five to thirteen years as they suck the desert dry of its oil. As they've done in the past, they'll probably rotate out a new line of "be very afraid" nonsense for the media to feed to the sheeple every year or so to keep them fearful and obedient. P.T. Barnum would be proud.
