<it's my understand that the united nations military will not come into iraq to fight terrorism.. > It is my understanding that the vast majority of countries that would have committed troops if the UN was running the show decided some time ago not to commit troops to support a US occupation. If and when Iraq is run for and by Iraqi's, other countries might want to help out, but it is not clear that anybody will want to step into a guerilla war or a civil war. Once it has begun, the process of disintegration of Iraq is likely going to be hard to stop, much less reverse. That process began with our invasion.
