What does it matter what kind of heritage anyone wants to assert? Nightline did an interesting piece on a high school principal who had lived his entire life believing he was black. Ditto his mother. He had a DNA test done and, lo and behold, his DNA came back with 0% African heritage. I'm not entirely sure how they measure that or if it's even valid but it sure threw him for a loop. He was mostly Indo-European. Maybe we should all get one of those tests so we know for certain who the heck we are. That would also provide us with a more concrete idea of whom we should hate. I believe it would lead to many very confused individuals and lots of new work for psychiatrists.
