"Claims that Arafart wants peace are as phoney as claims that he cares about his own people for other than the $$ he can pilfer. These cowards shoot at those who try to negotiate and bring peace. How can civilized nations even think they can negotiate with this savage? The only thing he understands is force"

Sort of like the Israeli right assasinating their own Prime Minister and then calling the assasin a hero.

The real issue is the Israeli Right wants all the land, always has, and uses every opportunity to grab a bit more. currently it's the wall. Under the guise of security it goes deeper into occupied territory.

Claims that Sharon wants a peaceful existence with a separate Palestinian state are as phoney as the statements he gave Bush in July about the settlements while being quoted in the Jerusalem Post saying, "Your children will live there and your children's children will live there." all he wants is the land and lies about defense being the reason for his actions. His wall is another grab for territory. Unfortunately my fellow citizens are dying in Iraq for Sharon and my tax dollars are going to him instead of to educate my fellow countrymen.

Arafat has stolen around $1 billion, or more, from the Palestinian people. If he was not an ugly, depraved criminal beast, there would be peace in the Middle East. Palestinian and Israeli misery are solely the fault of Arafat.

If the Palestinians had leadership like Blair, or Sharon, or Bush, the Palestinians would be living in peace and prosperity instead of the misery that Arafat has brought to them.

Sad, isn't it, how much damage and misery a demon like Arafat can cause. Of course it also takes a lot of cowardly leaders around the world who are too afraid to stand up to terrorists like Arafat.
