Bush has been running for re-election since day one.
He's spent more time fundraising than any candidate in history. Unfortunately many of those funds he's raised have corrupted his administration and tied their policies to the top contributing fat cats and their lobbyists. Bush campaign's claim of many small donations is BS. The corporate special interests are bundling, geting their employees to donate. Instead of an oil company giving $200,000 they just get 100 employees to give $2000. That has been going on since the beginning. They were out fundraising shortly after the 2000 race. Big-time.
