For me it is halfway between stenographers and propagandists. That's because I'm illiberal and quite observant when someone is trying to pull the wool over my eyes. I've been shocked and dismayed at what the News Hour fails to report about subjects which I've become educated about via the Internet. Their superficiality is only exceeded by every other network, excepting C-SPAN on TV and the Pacifica Radio and i.e. Radio Network offerings. BTW, are you an Amy Goodman fan? :) She's the best news anchor in America, IMO.
