THE MORNING TALK SHOWS:

This morning, C-SPAN was full of the usual venom in opposition to Bush being quite knowledgeable and articulate, and his loyalists being dumb as fenceposts.

CBS's Bob Schieffer featured a wonderful trio of David Manniss(sp?), Bob Hallek and Gary Wills. They pilloried Bush on his dunderheaded imitation of LBJ, arrogantly refusing to admit he'd made a mistake in Viet Nam.

NBC's Meet the Press had a "roundtable" with six reporters and they gave Bush decidedly mixed reviews.

ABC was dreadful. George Stephanopolous has turned into a complete fascist tool and he let George Will yammer on ad nauseam about trivialities. And instead of interviewing the strongest Democratic Presidential contenders, he interviewed the weakest! What a worm.

Faux News was its usual dreadful propaganda orgasm.

CNN's Late Edition had a decent segment with Richard Lugar and Bob Graham expressing adult ideas about how to get Little King Georgie's titty out of the ringer. Then the best and most honest segment of the morning was a CNN commentator, Bob Morgan(?) analyzed the Bush TV ad that has been playing in Iowa. Morgan cut Bush to shreds. Called him a misleader. Said that the ad was a lie. It was great to see the truth for once on the TV. What a change.
