Lorne, this post of yours I agree with in its totality. I agree that the Koran is written in such a manner that it is very open to interpretation. I do not know Arabic, but I am told that the Arabic language also is such that there are many sentences in Arabic which have more than one meaning. Is that true? I don't know.

Even amongst the Muslims, you are not considered a true Muslim if you cannot read Arabic and thereby read the Koran (Muslim bible) in its original language which is Arabic.

But now with the Turkey bombings, we just have to sit back and watch the situation evolving in the Muslim theatre. I have always believed the Muslims should be fighting the war on terror. I hope they do now since these attacks prove that the terrorists have struck out against Islam during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Let us forget what the Muslim prophet said. Let us focus on recent events and ask our Muslim friends why they do not consider the Turkey and the SA bombings as attack on Muslims during their holiest month of Ramadan?
